tidbits

I just wanted to quickly cover a few bases, throw out a few "notes-to-self," as well as notes to others.

1. Sorry for not posting more Ecuador pictures - I promise they are coming, though many of them are stolen from my groupmates. I would have commented on the earlier ones individually, but inserting pictures does odd things to the post, and everything was just far too complicated.

2. To Daddy's Daddy - I chewed through Stiff on my trip to the East Coast. LOVED IT! Just about to start in on An Unquiet Mind, but currently working on American Gods and Anansi Boys via Mom's suggestion. There are so many fantastic books in the world! (And not enough time to enjoy them all)

3. To Gramma Joan - Dad and I test-drove the High Sierra hardbacked suitcase on our trip to Bahston. That thing is a black hole! It's going to be seriously hard to keep my packing light, but I'm sure I'll manage (with my father to "help").

4. More comments on the college visit trip are pending, but for the moment...Tufts is okay, I could go there and be happy, but I'm definitely applying to other schools; the School of the Museum of Fine Arts is pretty amazing, but I'm iffy - the 5 year program is wayyyyy intense; I still love MIT; Harvard is basically Yale, but in Cambridge instead of New Haven (whoot!); Brown is not what I thought; and U of Chicago is the coolest school ever.
